Mood Board
In the first week in interior design we were asked to create a mood board/inspiration board. Interior designers use mood boards to show clients their designs they wish to create. One can construct a mood board using an online website called Olioboard. Olioboard allows one to make both 2D and 3D room while being able to choose individual items for each design. In class we all explored the website choosing different textures, colors, and items that we liked best. Our collection overall reflected our personal style and personality.Mine as a whole contained many neutral and earth toned colors. It also contains a variety of many plants, animals, and nature related items in general. Mine reflects my personality in the way that I like a calm environment and highly enjoy nature. Each items on Olioboard has the ability to be bought if desired. the cost of the mood board I have created is $4,045.17. Overall mood boards are an easy way to display real designs before physically making them.
